EXCELLENT Based on 171 reviews Posted on Shanya JVerified Beautiful Room with Scenic Sleep I stayed with a cape shark yesterday, the rooms were beautiful, the views were gorgeous, the rooms shared good portions and the refrigerator was equipped with clean rooms I liked very much, but everything seemed good until I closed the open air door in the bedroom like it smelled like cats kicking the nose, sleeping uncomfortable, the car and the smell of smell of smell. I had to open the door and wake up to me I was sprinkled and there was red spots and the stitches were not on time, and when I sprinkled up I sent to the chat line that was spoken but not responsible, no reaction. *Rejected and irresponsible without even apologizing.Posted on Frank RVerified Once bitten twice shy When we arrived at our villa (c16c) it looked fantastic with excellent views across shark bay. That’s when the positives ended sadly. The first night we could not sleep due to the noise coming from the generator nearby. We got moved to another villa which was not good . The bed had insect lava in the bed sheets.discussing. The walls were filthy in the bedroom and the kitchen. We had 4 cleaners in for nearly 1 hr to get it acceptable. The fridge comes stocked with supplies which you can use at your cost. The bread was use by the 3rd sept and this was the 10th. I gave to reception who had nothing to say. When we were checking out they even tried to charge us for the out of date bread I given them. They do arrange shuttles to and from the town. Which is good as there is no other way other than a taxi. Times of these need to be better. Last one to the town is 5.30pm and the last one back is 9pm. Not good hen going in for a meal. We had to use taxis most nights. Sadly not for us. This is easy the most disappointing place we stayed at during this visit to Thailand.Posted on laura tVerified The sea as far as the eye can see Absolutely perfect experience with 5 star service. The villas with infinity pool on the sea are stunning for tranquility, privacy and breathtaking views. The service lives up to expectations with an attentive reception and always available to meet the needs of customers. Super recommended for those seeking an oasis of peace and beauty out of the chaos.Posted on anniecraig95Verified Pinch me, I’m in paradise. We stayed at cape shark for 3 nights, we stayed in two different rooms and both were amazing. The staff were so lovely and accomodating. They assisted us with organising our trips into town and advised us where to hire scooters. The rooms were clean and the POOL !! The view from the balcony and pool are to die for. We were able to order takeaway from local restaurants which they delivered to our balcony. Thankyou to the great staff.Posted on C bVerified CAPE SHARK VILLAS Had a 3 night stay sf cape shark, selected for its stunning views and proximity to Shark Bay . Our villa had amazing views, with 3 unique bedrooms built into the stone Cove. We had an amazing experience in shsrk bay swimming with a large adult turtle. The villas offer shuttles to Sarrie Beach which has a host if restaurants and bars located on the beach. Word of warning the villas are spread out on the cliff with very steep approaches which could trouble anyone with stamina or balance issues. We loved our visit, the staff were great and I'd recommend the experience . Magical villa ✨️Posted on MaxFraRicMatVerified Beautiful place Wonderful stay in front of Shark Bay in Koh Tao Island. Villa C2 is perfect! Two large bedrooms and a kitchen equipped with everything you need. The staff is always available in case of need and advice. Breakfast is not included but both the effective and punctual Deliveries and the markets in town are equipped with everything you need so you don't miss anything. The sea and the bay are worth it and for those who love snorkeling it is not uncommon to come across small sharks or, as happened to us, a beautiful turtle. We will be back!!!Posted on vickyVerified One of a kind You have a Nice villa by youself. We Stayed at c6a, and it was the best with 3 seperate houses. It’s very easy to get food delivered, and the reception also makes sure to keep the fridge with toast, eggs and drinks. Awesome View. Possible to see turtles and shark. Great shuttle to town. Really enjoyed our time there.Posted on Wilma HVerified Fantastic Great location Beautiful view Beautifully furnished house with swimming pool Everything is arranged fantastically for you This complex is highly recommended Many restaurants will bring food to your house Scooter rental very convenient Drop off and pick up service Also to certain beachesPosted on Sarah WVerified Many steps no air con Wonderful views from the villa, downsides and there were a few. Our villa 23B was down a very steep hill and loads of steps, quite treacherous and absolutely boiling even worse was trying to get up it. The staff were nice, they did say on check in that when we wanted to come up or down from villa phone reception they would come and get us, but after 5 when reception closed we sort of had to really convince them we needed picking up as they said nobody was available. Eventually most times they sent someone mainly a guy on a motorbike who ferried the three of us up. We had to walk down every night after being out and it wasn’t very well lit. The villa was built into the cliff so also had tons of stairs. The downside of the villa was that there was only air con in the bedrooms, the kitchen and all other areas had fans but they did nothing it was boiling. Ants appeared from everywhere and got absolutely bitten to shreds mainly in bed at night. We had a villa with a pool and this was a gods send. Would I go back I’m afraid not. The actual reception was up a very steep hill about a mile or so long, do you couldn’t just walk out the villa and have a wander around, felt a bit trapped. One of the taxi drivers reception recommended wouldn’t come up one night as it was too dark.Posted on SierraVerified Honeymoon This stay was the highlight of our honeymoon... In the end it turned out to be a catastrophe... We arrived at the hotel... We were greeted by a man with a ponytail who spoke English... We were informed that our room P5 was too noisy due to the work... We were then moved to another room, namely C22... Everything was described as "beautiful" by the man with the ponytail who speaks to you at the beginning of your stay... First of all, we were happy with our new room until we were woken up in the early morning around 7:00 am by the noise of the construction workers... A relaxing splash in the pool was also not an option because there was constant noise. .. It's quite simple: if you know that rooms P5 and C22 are noisy, then you simply DO NOT rent these rooms.... And you don't start spouting nonsense like the English-speaking person that everything is perfect in room C22... We went back to reception that morning. I wanted to speak to the English-speaking person who repeatedly spoke to us with empty words... Strangely, this person did not have the courage to speak to us and immediately called another employee. I am convinced that you knew all too well that there was noise pollution in C22... because you knew immediately what we were going to complain about before we had even said one word... Eventually we were moved to C23B. A beautiful room with a beautiful view. We were promised that we could stay here for TWO days until the end of our holiday... But nothing could be further from the truth... The next morning when we returned from a walk on the beach we were told that we had to leave the room... In other words we were moved rooms for the THIRD (!!!) time (during our 3 night stay...) ... This time we were moved to C14 and as a consolation prize we received a bottle of cava... Unfortunately, we did not enjoy our stay during our honeymoon... It was a stressful stay even though we were looking forward to it so much... In short: book at this hotel?: - YES!: for the beautiful view... -NO: the steep slopes, the amateurish way of dealing with customers + empty promises... There are plenty of other hotels like this in Koh Tao... So don't book this one... I would like to emphasize that the staff who work there cannot be blamed... They had compassion for us but could not do anything about it... It is the management at the reception that should take a course: "How to deal with customers....."
